Family Literacy Day

Description

Celebrate the importance of literacy with Wood Buffalo Regional Library on Family Literacy Day! We have literacy-based fun planned for everyone in the family. Join us for special guest story times throughout the day, a baby zone, games, and so much more for littles!

For teens & adults we have our viral video challenge, step out of your reading comfort zone with Blind Date with a Book, and more!

Drop in throughout the day to take part in passive activities throughout the library or visit us for story time at the following times:

10:30am: Opening blessing & prayer with Elder Lorraine Albert, Story Time with Mayor Bowman
12pm: Story Time with Rofyda from the Keyano Huskies
12:30pm: WBRL
1pm: Story Time with Constable Robichaud from the RCMP
1:30pm: Local Author Saanvi Talwar
2pm: TumbleBook Story Time
2:30pm: Story Time with Wylie & WBRL
3pm: Story Time with the Fort McMurray Giants
3:30pm: Story Time with the FMFD
